In 2012, MT Educare Ltd., a reputed coaching classes firm headquartered in Mumbai with more than 200 centers across India embarked on a mission to expand into the digital learning domain. Millicent was mandated with a requirement for enabling students to be able to view digital lecture videos on anytime anywhere basis on any device such as a mobile, tablet or PC with or without internet. The plan was to launch the solution from new academic year which was just 3 months away.
Solution :Millicent team developed an elearning app named 'Robomate' which could be used by students on any android smartphone/tablet, ios phone and even windows based desktop PC. Moreover students could also opt for offline access where content was stored in sd cards. Challenge was to deliver the solution within quick time, across multiple device and platforms. Millicent proved to be a worthy partner for Mahesh Tutorials and Robomate became known for its App features.
MT Educare intended to secure its digital assets such as videos, pdf notes, ebooks etc. Objective was to enable students to access this content in secured format where users should not be able to download or replicate the content.
Solution :Millicent team developed a comprehensive Content Security Platform which included content encryption tools and decryption sdks for content security. This solution helped MT Educare to focus on its core business of creating content without having to worry about content leaks etc. Video content, pdf and ebooks encrypted once can be opened only through authorized App and Users. Content even if downloaded cannot be played without App and valid user.
MT Educare intended to provide online tests for their students which can be attempted in their mobile devices or desktop PCs. The requirement was to create a solution which can house a question bank, paper and test generation and test assignment features. Also post the test attempt student test diagnostic report was to be made available in the platform.
Solution :Millicent team developed an end to end assessments platform where teachers can create their own questions and answers, create test and assign to students on specified date and time of their choosing. Students can attempt the test on their Android smartphones, tablet or even desktop PCs. Teachers can monitor the test results through an admin panel. Students and Parents get a Test diagnostic report pointing out the strengths and areas of improvements of the students.
